Project Self Esteem is a year-round project that provides at-risk, underserved youth with the resources they need to feel good about themselves, so they can focus on their education!
What We Do
The Problem: Youth with low self-esteem have negative thoughts about their worth and value as a person. Many youths today often do not have the simplest of everyday hygiene and self-image items necessary for proper care and positive self-esteem.
Our solution: gift hygiene supplies to our liaisons at youth-serving organizations to discreetly give to the youth in need. Our Basic 7 hygiene kits include full-size shampoo/conditioner, brush/comb, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, and mesh pouf. Other items, such as feminine hygiene supplies, face cleansers, socks, and undies, may be provided as well.
We work out of our climate-controlled storage room in Rockwall, TX.
