Activities include:

Do you want to help at-risk teens today?

We need hygiene items for Project Self Esteem! You can help solve this need by hosting a box drive to collect critical items from our needs list: 

Tasks include:

Promote project needs on social media or word of mouth Serve as liaison between Empower 7 and donors to coordinate pickup/delivery of donations Work with Empower 7 leadership to determine and prioritize needs

Do you want to help youth who have aged-out of the foster care system? Do you enjoy planning and managing projects? Are you detailed oriented and super organized? 

Project Leads for Empower 7's Love Your Neighbor Care Package are critical in helping us serve youth from foster care.  

Tasks:

Work with Empower 7's Mentoring Program Leads to determine needs Organize and manage project events to assemble care packages Work with Volunteer Coordinators to ensure volunteer opportunities are identified and filled Provide feedback regarding the success of individual project events Monitor project performance to describe project impact on our communities Work with Empower 7 leadership to determine and prioritize needs

Project Leads for Empower 7's Project Self Esteem are critical in helping us serve at-risk youth in North Texas today.  

Tasks:

Identify and recommend appropriate schools that serve at-risk youth Serve as liaison between Empower 7 and any external organizations/businesses/individuals Organize and manage project events to include pre-planning, day of activities, and delivery of hygiene supplies Work with Volunteer Coordinators to ensure volunteer opportunities are identified and filled Provide feedback regarding the success of individual project events Monitor project performance to describe project impact on our communities Work with Empower 7 leadership to determine and prioritize needs

Team Leads for Empower 7's Mentoring Program are critical in helping youth achieve their academic and career goals and become thriving adults.

Tasks:

Review mentoring program applications and participate in the mentor:student matching process Serve as liaison between Empower 7 and team of mentorsChampion Mentor Team approach in supporting needs of student
Organize program activities to help close the gaps that prevent the student from thriving (care packages, career development, personal development)Work with Volunteer Coordinators to ensure volunteer opportunities are identified and filledWork with Fund Development to ensure needs are financially covered Monitor program performance to improve program design and describe program impact on youth in our communities Work with Empower 7 leadership to determine and prioritize needs
